Oh what a night!

Like all good theatrical productions, it was difficult to take your eyes of the final couples for the last weekend of Tourism Victoria’s creative love campaign, Melbourne Match. Each had a storyline that was just so exciting to watch.
The Sydney girls and Melbourne men introduced themselves at the Pompeii exhibition held at [...]

I matched Rachel with Alex because I felt both had a unique eye for appreciating aesthetic beauty and design. But did I get it right? Did their Dali dates turn them into darlings? Click on the videos to find out.

I’m very excited to announce the female winners of the Melbourne Match competition. The gorgeous girls were chosen, by their creative attitude & applications and of course which lady matched best with the man they applied to win a creative date with. Let the romance begin.

First dates can be nerve-racking (especially a blind date that’s being filmed and written about all over Australia).
Yet not unlike a good exhibition, just as first impressions can be complex they can also be breathtaking to watch. Nothing is more beautiful than seeing the instant chemistry of a well-matched couple laying eyes on each other [...]

It’s been a big few weeks for Melbourne Match with the national media jumping on the Love Train and a debate heating up between Sydney and Melbourne as to who has the best male talent.
“Hands off our boys” quoted a furious Melbourne woman to the Herald Sun, while the Sun-Herald NSW uncovered a conspiracy [...]

Sydney women have been suffering under the strain of The Creative Crunch: a downturn in eligible, creative men to snuggle up to at night.

A situation much of the media has branded the Man Drought...

Again, in a case of love imitating the Recession, almost everyone & anyone has had an opinion on Sydney’s Man Drought; is it real or made up? Columnists have ranted, Men have blamed women, Women have blamed the men (the fact that the majority of the large portion of well dressed, creative men in Sydney like to sing "It’s Raining Men," while shaking silver Pom Poms with a little too much enthusiasm) as being responsible. Yet none have brought us closer to a solution.

With all the finger pointing and every negative word spoken, cupid’s arrow; clearly suffering from psychosomatic dehydration, has failed to meet the demands of the romantically parched...

Is it only me who does not find this surprising?

A drought is a time of lack; how can love "become the rose" if there are water restrictions?

Is there anything less appealing than implying the gorgeous women of Sydney are a bunch of parched cattle; ready to stampede the moment a decent bloke enters a venue?

In turn, is it only me who doesn’t find it hard to understand then, why men might not be running at the image of a date with a thirsty cow?

Sydney is not suffering from a Man Drought. It’s a Man Recession. For certain types of businesses, business booms in the recession.

This includes The Business Of Love...

Last weekend, I flew down to Melbourne to do the photo-shoot & interviews for the 10 gorgeous Melbourne Men.

As I sat, in the sun, on a wooden bench in Melbourne’s Federation Square, chatting to a host of well-dressed, creative men. Men who prefer markets to shopping malls & wine bars to clubs, I couldnt help [...]
