I cannot believe that there is a man drought. What makes a man “decent” anyway? Does he have to have some property, a great income, be good looking, funny, free from baggage and under 35? Let’s hope not. I honestly think that there are plenty of great men around, who are completely bemused and unsure of what women want. That said, Sydney women have a reputation for being assertive in getting their man. Melbourne women could learn from that a little……… And Sydney is only $200 away by plane, guys!

I’m a Sydney artist and was invited to Melbourne a couple of weeks ago as a guest speaker at the agIdeas International Design Week. What completely blew me away about Melbourne (and was consequently my selling point for Melbourne) was the outrageous number of handsome, well dressed and completely charming men that Melbourne has to offer. It was as though I’d found the perfect restaurant with a menu crammed full of all of my favorite appetisers…could I ever leave? Maybe it’s all of the Mediterranean bloody floating around, maybe it’s the uber cool dark alleys playing with my imagination, or maybe Sydney, my beautiful home, is in complete need of some fresh men!! Either way, I’m enticed!
